THE POSITION?
- The Lead Teacher is responsible for implementing and overseeing the Jr K Program
- You will work with a passionate team of educators in our Jr K Program to develop and implement curriculum and programming that meets the unique gifts, interests and developmental needs of the children
- You will build relationships with the children and families sharing joyfully in their child’s achievements and working collaboratively to support any developmental needs.
- This role requires close collaboration with the manager to ensure adherence to regulations and assist with various administrative responsibilities
- This position is 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, following the school calendar
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate or equivalent (Special Need Specialization an asset) in BC
- Supervisor or Lead Teacher Experience is mandatory
- Evidence of a strong sense of purpose and identity built on Biblical principles and participation in a local Christian church community.
- First aid/CPR certificate.
