Learning Support Services Coordinator

Abbotsford Christian School, located in the Fraser Valley, is a well-established interdenominational school of 1200 students on three campuses: Elementary (preschool – grade 4), Middle (5-8), and Secondary (9-12).

Abbotsford Christian School is accepting applications for full-time MIDDLE SCHOOL LEARNING SUPPORT SERVICES (LSS) COORDINATOR for the 2025/26 school year.

This LSS Coordinator would join a collaborative team that is responsible for all aspects of the LSS department. This includes programming for learning support and special education students, supervising educational assistants and their workload, and communicating with parents and staff all in keeping with the mission and vision of ACS. The coordinator would report directly to the campus principal and work closely with the Director of Learning Support Services. Specific qualifications include:

• Teacher Certification within BC with at least two years of successful teaching experience
• Clear understanding of Christian education
• Experience or training in special education or related field
• Special education and coordinator leadership experience preferred

• Have the ability to build rapport with students
• Have a reputation for being an excellent educator and model servant leadership
• Have experience with project-based learning or Deeper Learning pedagogies
• Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment in a progressive and creative school
• Be able to work professionally and confidently with the ability to adapt to situations as needs arise
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn

The salary range for this position is $56,000 – $94,000 and is dependent on an applicant’s qualifications and experiences.
