Preschool Teacher/Manager

Employment:  Part Time (working five mornings a week)

Compensation Range:  $31 – $35 per hour (dependent on education/certification and experience)

Agassiz Christian School is a dynamic, well-established elementary school located in the upper Fraser Valley, nestled at the foot of beautiful Mount Cheam, with over 100 students registered from Preschool to Grade 7.  We are a growing community with a dedicated staff who wish to see students discover, grow and thrive.

ACS is accepting applications for a part-time Preschool Teacher, beginning in late August 2025, working five mornings a week. We have just added a beautiful new addition specifically for our preschool and are looking for an excited and energetic preschool teacher/manager to make the new space a place for students to Discover, Grow and Thrive.

The successful applicant will:

• Have a current ECE certificate
• Exhibit gifts in working with 3-5-year-old children
• Develop and implement the early childhood education program
• Ensure compliance with Ministry expectations
• Integrate the services of external services (eg. speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, etc.)
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team
• Build positive relationships with a variety of students and parents
• Maintain confidentiality

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Early Childhood Educator Certificate
• Evidence of involvement in a local Christian faith community
• Strong professional references
• Ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive work environment

Each candidate must be:

• A committed Christian
• Dedicated to Christian education.
• Willing to sign the Community Standards policy of the school.
