Primary Teacher

2025/26 Primary Teacher (1.0 FTE)

Valley Christian School is a small K-7 school of approximately 150 students. We are family-oriented and the only Christian school in Mission, BC. We emphasize that each child is an important part of the body of Christ and encourage everyone to grow in their unique gifts and to use them for God’s glory.

We are looking for a teacher who is energetic and committed to Christian education to join our school family. We are accepting applications to fill a full-time primary teaching position (1.0 FTE) for the 2025/26 school year. The ideal candidate will be flexible and desire to collaborate in a team environment.

Applicants should be deeply committed to the Christian faith, with a strong dedication to Christian education. They demonstrate active involvement in a local Christian community and exhibit a mature Christian faith. Additionally, they are willing to sign the Community Standards policy of the school, reflecting their alignment with its values.

All applicants must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate. Teaching experience with the new BC curriculum will be beneficial.

Salary Range: $49,758 to $87,330
