Primary Teacher (Grade 1)

1.00 FTE, officially starting August 25, 2025

Job Description

This is a full-time position from August 2025 to June 2026, with the opportunity to extend into a continuing contract with the school.

Preferred candidates will:

• Be a committed follower of Jesus
• Be committed to the Mission, Vision and Values of Kelowna Christian School, as well as being in agreement with the KCS Statement of Faith
• Be effective in relating to primary children
• Have a desire to develop a Christian worldview among students
• Be committed to lifelong learning
• Have conversancy with standards-based assessment and the BC curriculum 

Teacher applicants should meet, at minimum, the following qualifications: 

• A Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.
