Community Christian School in Metcalfe, a suburb of Ottawa, Ontario, is actively seeking applications for the position of full-time Principal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the school’s educational program and general operations. The position will commence on August 1, 2027.
CCS has been blessed with growth and now serves over 120 Grade JK – 8 students from a broad interdenominational community. In the setting of the nation’s capital, the mission of CCS is to partner with families to teach students the biblical principles essential to walk with God and provide them with the academic tools with which to become faithful stewards. We are seeking applications from candidates with a sincere and active faith in Jesus Christ, and a passion for working in a community with the above mission.
The successful candidate will use her/his Christian leadership skills to actively direct, evaluate and encourage staff, students, and volunteers; formulate plans and guide decision-making that aligns with CCS’s mission, vision and core values as they challenge the school community to grow spiritually and academically as children of God; have appropriate training and experience; and be committed to a reformed Christian worldview. Preference given to candidates who hold or are progressing towards a Christian School Principal Certificate.
