Kootenay Christian Academy is accepting applications for a dynamic principal who is committed to our mission and vision, commencing August 1, 2024.

    Overview

Kootenay Christian Academy was founded in 1995, committed to offering Cranbrook and area families excellence in education within the context of Biblical truth.  KCA seeks to enable all students to achieve their maximum potential in a secure and respectful learning environment where students are challenged to explore God, His Creation, and their place in it.

Founded in 1995, we are a thriving community, providing exceptional education to over 325 students, preschool through grade 12. We prayerfully design programs to meet the needs of individual students, ensuring they are supported in an environment that shares the values instilled at home. Students graduate as fully equipped leaders, rooted in Christ, able to communicate a distinctly Christian worldview and live it out daily with character, integrity, and wisdom.

Kootenay Christian Academy is seeking a spiritually mature visionary leader, dedicated to pursuing God’s excellence in all things and capable of implementing and promoting the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the school. The successful candidate will possess outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, financial acumen and the energy and vision to support KCA’s vision to expand. They will have a vibrant commitment to Christian education and a strong understanding of what excellent Christian teaching and learning looks like.  The Principal is responsible to the Board for the delivery of first-class education and the effective leadership and management of KCA.
