    TABER CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL 

    1.0 FTE PROBATIONARY PRINCIPAL

    Taber Christian High School is a grade 9-12 Christian alternative high school within the Horizon School Division located in the town of Taber, Alberta. Approximately eight professional staff and eight support staff provide service to approximately 150 students from families representing more than 20 church communities.

     

    The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, student-centered educator possessing the following qualifications:

    • A Master of Education is strongly preferred.
    • Successful teaching and leadership experience and demonstrated ability to meet the Leadership Quality Standard.
    • A proven record of excellence in areas of fostering effective relationships, student achievement, instructional leadership, leading a learning community, understanding and responding to the larger societal context within a Christian School setting
    • Ability to work collaboratively with the Taber Society for Christian Education, which owns and maintains the facility.
    • Team-oriented leadership style emphasizing collaborative decision-making.
    • Ability to manage school operations and resources, well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Experience in nurturing and sustaining a culture that supports evidence-informed teaching and learning from a Biblical perspective
