For the 2025/26 school year and beyond, Pacific Christian School is seeking a half-time counsellor passionate about walking alongside teenagers, helping nurture their growth and supporting their learning. We invite applicants who see counselling as a calling, delight in shaping both minds and hearts, and desire to create and support environments where all students can grow in knowledge, faith, and resilience. This is a 0.5 FTE role within our Student Services team; however, it could be combined with teaching to create a full-time role for a qualified and BC-certified teacher applicant.
Please consider:
- Do you have a love for young people and for walking with them through the ups, downs, and uncertainties of life?
- Does your Christ-centred faith inform your life and your practice as a counsellor?
- Do you appreciate the various stages of emotional, social, cognitive, and faith development of adolescents, as well as the breadth of expression of Christian faith in an interdenominational school?
- Do you communicate effectively with adults and young people and enjoy working collaboratively?
If you answered “yes” to the above, and you have a graduate-level degree with a counselling focus (MA or MEd) or other relevant education and experience, we invite your application.
