For the 2025/26 school year and beyond, Pacific Christian School is seeking teachers who are passionate about walking alongside teenagers — guiding their learning, sparking curiosity, and nurturing their formation. We invite educators who see teaching as a calling, who delight in shaping both minds and hearts, and who desire to cultivate a learning environment where students grow in knowledge, faith, and service.

With anticipated openings in areas such as Grade 8 & 9 Humanities (Language Arts/Social Studies/Bible), Grade 8-10 Science, Grade 8-12 French, Grade 10-12 Social Studies and Indigenous Studies, and Grade 8-12 Drama and/or Musical Theatre, we welcome candidates who bring passion and experience to more than one area. In addition, candidates should:

    • Possess current British Columbia teacher certification
    • Have a vibrant Christian faith and a desire to foster Christian faith formation in young people
    • Desire to become an active, contributing, collaborative member of a professional learning community
    • Have demonstrated organizational and planning skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills with both adults and young people
    • Have experience in the following areas:
      • teaching in a middle-school or high-school setting
      • employing teaching approaches that are responsive to 21st-century learning needs and best practices
      • integrating Christian worldview and employing pedagogical practices that reflect and support Christian formation

Remuneration is based on the PCS Salary Grid.

To apply, please forward the following to Secondary Principal, Lorna Herzog

    (lorna.herzog@pacificchristian.ca):

    • Letter of introduction
    • Résumé
    • Statement of faith
    • Copy of current-year TRB certification
    • Contact information for three references. Not all referees need to comment on the same aspects but, taken together, please ensure that the referees are able to offer insight on character, Christian faith, relevant experience, and passion for working with young people.

Applications received by April 11, 2025 will be given priority consideration.
