POSITION: TEACHER — Temporary Part-Time: 0.23 FTE (Jan 27, 2026 – June 16, 2026)

ASSIGNMENT: Careers 9 & WEX 11

Campbell River Christian School is located in Campbell River, mid-Vancouver Island, in British Columbia. We are a vibrant Christian school serving families and students from Campbell River, Comox, Quadra Island, and Sayward. We are currently accepting applications for a part-time, temporary High School teaching position covering a variety of subjects and grades from January 27, 2026, to June 16, 2026. The successful candidate will have qualifications/skills which include, but are not limited to:

• Possession of a valid BC Professional Teaching certificate/diploma
• Experience as a teacher in Careers and Work Experience Programs
• Experience in co-teaching with a colleague
• Experience working with students in Grades 9-12
• Strong assessment practices and familiarity with the Proficiency Scale of Assessment
• Demonstration of and growing understanding of incorporating Indigenous-focused learning
• Excellent understanding of and experience with differentiated instruction
• Demonstration of excellent teaching practices using current pedagogy
• Ability to work with diverse students by using various teaching strategies
• Demonstration of strong classroom management skills
• Possession of excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to work closely with staff in a team approach
• Evidence of a strong understanding and support of Christian education
• Ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all lessons
• Must be a practising Christian with a commitment to the Statements of Faith as outlined in CRCS’s faith Statements as well as the statements of faith as outlined by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) & The Society of Christian Schools in British Columbia (SCSBC)

Salary range: $11,062.00 – $20,750.00
