Educational Assistant (Fixed Term)

Richmond Christian School is seeking a dynamic, collaborative Educational Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract from March through June 2026.

 About the Position

This is a fixed-term contract March 11, 2026 – June 24, 2026.

Compensation range

$24,910 – $38,841 CAD

Please note that the posted compensation range reflects a full-time EA role working the full school year. As this is a fixed-term contract role, compensation will be prorated accordingly.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment towards Christian Education and an ability to anticipate the needs of a diverse group of learners. The ideal candidate also demonstrates a foundational knowledge in working within the Positive Behaviour Support framework.

The Educational Assistant (EA) will work to support students, under the direction of the classroom teacher, both class wide as well as in small groups or one-to-one.  The EA should have strong collaboration and communication skills in order to work best with classroom teachers and should show flexibility to best meet student needs. Specifically for this role, the EA will mainly support a students with emotional and social supports.

This role is an on-site position located at our Elementary Campus located at 5240 Woodwards Road, Richmond.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Current certification from an accredited Educational Assistant Program or related certification such as Behaviour Interventionist.
• Evidence of course work or experience with exceptional and unique learners
