Cornerstone Christian School is a vibrant K–12 community nestled in the quiet beauty of Northwestern Ontario. As we enter our fifth year, we are growing steadily, now serving 120 students, including 25 high school students. Our small class sizes and close-knit environment mean every student is known, valued, and supported.

We are deeply committed to helping students know and love Jesus Christ and to see their place in God’s story—equipping them to make a difference in the world as His disciples.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high school teacher with a strong background in English, along with the flexibility to teach additional subjects.

• 0.5 FTE (part-time) or Full-time (1.0 FTE) with French teaching responsibilities in elementary
• A supportive, collaborative staff team
• Teaching the Ontario curriculum within a Christian framework

Essential Skills

• A passionate, adaptable educator, able (or willing) to teach across subject areas
• Expertise in English curriculum, assessment, and instructional best practices
• Experience in French instruction is a strong asset
• Strong ability to curate, develop, and share instructional resources
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Committed to Christian education and discipleship

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor of Education
• Certification with Ontario College of Teachers and/or Christian School Teaching Certificate
• Experience with Teaching for Transformation is preferred

Annual Salary (range)

$18,613 to $36,765 per school year for part-time; $37,226 to $73,530 for full-time, dependent on education, qualifications, and experience.
